DIY Magnet Pins for Clothing
Pins are fashionable accessories that you can wear with clothes, scarves, hats, and bags. They also make great souvenirs for travel, to promote a business, or to support a candidate or cause along the campaign trail. But instead of poking your clothes and accessories full of holes, you can use small magnets instead of metal pins. This simple craft will only take a few minutes and you don’t have to put holes in your clothes anymore!
Supplies
- A pin or a piece of jewelry
- 2 Small circular magnets for crafts
- Craft glue
Directions
- First, carefully remove the metal pin from the back of the decorative pin you selected. You might need pliers or scissors to remove the metal pin. Be careful not to poke yourself with the sharp end and discard the metal pin appropriately.
- Next, use the craft glue to secure one of the small circular magnets to the back of the jewelry piece. Spread the glue evenly over one side of the magnet.
- Hold the magnet to the back of the pin in place until the glue dries. Once the glue has dried, your pin is ready to wear!
