Question: what decade are we in? Because by the amount of Star Wars memorabilia you can find these days, you’d think it was 1980. Though the 80’s might seem like a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it’s pretty apparent that this revival will be around for a while longer. That means it’s as good a time as any to hop on the bandwagon and make some Star Wars themed crafts. We all know that “once you start down a dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.” And what is the best way to steer clear of the dark side? By making a nightlight to guide you on your journey (whether to Tatooine or just to the bathroom)! These Star Wars themed nightlights are adorable and extremely easy and fun to make.   • Medium short ball jar
  • Star Wars Pez dispensers or Lego characters
  • Scrapbook paper, preferably with stars on it
  • Hot glue gun
  • Small Disc Magnets
  • Scissors
  • Pen or pencil
  • Battery powered twinkle lights
Directions Step 1 - Trace your lid on the back side of the paper and cut out a circle. Add a few dots of glue onto the back of the paper circle and place it over top of your lid. Smooth the paper and set the lid aside to dry. Step 2 - Take apart your Pez dispensers and remove the heads. You can use as many characters as you would like for this because you can swap them after you’re finished! If you don’t want to take the heads off your candy dispensers, you can use Star Wars Lego characters for this craft instead. Step 3 - Be sure your magnets are lined up to the correct pole by testing it on your lid, then add hot glue to the bottoms of the heads and attach your magnet. Set aside to dry. If you’re using Legos, glue the magnet to the bottom of a Lego block to use as a stand. Then you easily can switch the Star Wars Lego characters.
