Magnetic Recipe Board
Now that the holiday season is officially underway, you can start preparing for the hefty Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner menus. If your family loves food and swapping recipes, here is a DIY to help you keep track of all your holiday food ideas. Sure, you can always create a Pinterest board, but there is still some old-fashioned charm to hanging a tangible recipe board in your kitchen. Here’s how you can make one for your own home.
Supplies
- Magnetic board
- Assortment of recipes
- Pin magnets
- Glue
- Neodymium magnets
- Clothespins
- Paint
- Marker
Steps
- First, collect the recipes that you want to add to your board.
- Hang up the magnetic board somewhere easily accessible in your kitchen. We recommend simply attaching it to your fridge.
- Pin your recipes to the board with pin magnets.
- If you want to take the board to the next level, and also use it as a weekly meal menu, then create your own set of magnets for each day.
- A simple way to create day-of-the-week magnets is to paint clothespins, let dry, write the days of the week in marker and then glue neodymium magnets to the back.
