DIY Holiday Poinsettia Magnets
When you think of the holiday season, a few pictures may pop up in your in head that are related to this time of year: candy canes, Santa Claus, snow and presents (to name a few!). Just like these examples, beautiful poinsettias are the flowers most associated with the holidays.
If you’re on the hunt for some last-minute decorations or would just like to spread more holiday cheer, here’s the perfect DIY for you! These easy and affordable Poinsettia Magnets are perfect for your fridge or any other metallic surface. You can keep them for your own home, or give them as gifts to all your friends and families. We hear they make great stocking stuffers, too!
Supplies:
- Artificial poinsettia flowers (use any color you like)
- Hot glue gun
- Multiple 3mm x 1mm Disc - Neodymium Rare Earth Magnet
- Bedazzler gems and sparkles to make your poinsettias even more festive!
Directions:
- Use scissors to cut the stem from the flower, as well as any other plastic pieces.
- Separate the petals and arrange in an overlapping patter.
- Place bottom petal face up, glue the magnet in the center with hot glue gun.
- Glue remaining petals on top.
- Bedazzle your poinsettia magnet however best fits your style!
- Repeat to create as many poinsettia magnets as you would like.
