Recently, we had a jingle made especially for Apex. Wanting to include everyone in on the fun-- we created a contest on our Facebook to see who could guess the writer/singer of our new jingle. The winner would be awarded $100 in Apex dollars! And, each week we revealed hints as to who the correct answer could be.        The answer, we are excited to officially announce, is Kevin Murphy-- the voice of  Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theater 3000 and a member of RiffTrax! He made magnets meet music in our very own personalized jingle, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. First premiering in the late 1980s, Mystery Science Theater 3000 provided hilarious movie commentary for years before moving online and becoming RiffTrax in 2006.  The writers and stars, Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett have produced comedic riffs for over 600 film titles.  Due to a Kickstarter campaign, they have been able to keep producing their hilarious riffs and live shows today. As a part of our philanthropy and desire to help, we contributed to that Kickstarter. And, thanks to the dedication of RiffTrax’s fanbase (Apex included) they are still making us laugh years later. So, asking them to create a jingle for us seemed like a perfect match!  We had so much fun with this contest and we hope you all did too! Thank you to everyone who participated and watched the contest unfold.  Visit our Facebook page to listen to the jingle!
