This is one DIY project that takes the term fridge magnet to a whole new level! If you love to decorate every inch of your home when the holidays roll around, then here’s an idea for fridge decorating━reindeer magnets. You can turn your “plain jane” fridge into a festive reindeer or a snowman with a few supplies and this guide.

Reindeer Fridge Magnet

Supplies

  • Construction paper or felt
  • Glue
  • Neodymium magnets
  • Scissors

Steps

  1. To create the fridge reindeer, you’ll need to gather brown, red and black pieces of construction paper or felt.
  2. Then cut out a circle from the red for the nose and two smaller, black circles for the eyes.
  3. Next, cut out two antlers from the brown piece of paper or felt.
  4. Once you have all the parts cut out, then take a magnet and glue it the back of each piece.
  5. Press down firmly to make sure the magnet sticks.
  6. Put each piece onto the fridge, maneuvering them until they form the shape of a reindeer face.
If you want to try something that is a bit more winter themed than Christmas themed, then you can create a snowman using magnets. *Note this works best with fridges that are white, but you can still use stainless steel or black fridges.

Magnetic Snowman

Supplies

(Same as above)
  • Construction paper or felt
  • Glue
  • Magnets
  • Scissors

Steps

  1. For the snowman you need orange, black, brown and another color of your choice to create a scarf.
  2. Cut out 6 black circles for the mouth and 2 for the eyes.
  3. Cut a triangle shape from the orange for a carrot nose and two twig shapes from the brown for arms.
  4. Take the remaining color of your choice and cut out a curved line to serve as the scarf.
  5. Glue a tiny magnet to the back of each piece and hang them on your fridge.
