Magnets are useful for projects both big and small, making them great tools for novices and seasoned DIYers. This week, we have collected three exciting magnet hacks that anyone can try. The best part is that all of these ideas require limited supplies and can be completed in a couple of minutes.

Three At-home Magnet Hacks

1. Paper Towel Holder

Spills in the kitchen are inevitable, making quick access to your paper towels a must. Did you know you can hang up your roll with ease with a pair of hook magnets, some string, and scissors? Simply place two hooks on the fridge and tie a string to one end. Run the string through the paper towel roll until you reach the second hook. Cut the string and tie off the second end. Now, you can have your roll nearby when a quick cleanup is needed.

2. Key Retrieval

Everyone has felt the sense of dread that comes when you drop your keys in a narrow, hard to reach space. You can tie a ring or hook magnet to some rope and use it to retrieve your keys without any issues. This is a great idea if you need to get your keys in a short amount of time. For future reference, you can use our magnetic pickup tool.

3. Medicine Cabinet Magnets

With so many items in your medicine cabinet and nearby drawers, it can be easy to lose track of where things go. Thankfully, you can use some hot glue and disc magnets inside of your medicine cabinet. Alternatively, you can use adhesive-backed magnets. Once you place your magnets, you can hang up nail clippers, tweezers, and other items.
