Just follow these steps:- No doubt, you will want to put the fire out and allow to cool overnight. Any concern the coals may be hot the next day, you could pour water over them.
- Place the magnet inside the plastic bucket.
- Have garbage can or just the upside down lid handy.
- Walk around the fire pit and hover your bucket over the ashes a few inches off the ground. The magnet will pick up nails, screws, and other magnetic materials.
- Once you have covered the area with your bucket and collected the debris, take to the garbage can or lid and remove the magnet from the inside of the bucket. The debris will fall away for easy disposal.
- Enjoy your clean fire pit!
